Planning Your Visit
Industry Social
The industry social will be Wednesday evening, 6:00pm to 9:00pm, at the Madonna Inn. No RSVPs or additional payments are required to attend. Wine and appetizers will be served, but there will not be a full meal. We recommend you eat dinner beforehand so you aren’t too hungry!
Mailing Booth Materials
If your company is planning on mailing booth materials please send to the below address. The ABM will retrieve and deliver materials to your booth.

Arriving At the Showcase
Registration and set-up will begin at 7:30 on Thursday morning. When you arrive on campus either pull off the main road right outside the entrance of the Farm Shop (Bldg. 9) to quickly unload booth materials or park in the general parking lots past the Farm Shop and then unload materials. Students will help you unload your vehicle, and direct you to check in and your booth location.
Parking
Unless you received 2 VIP spots with your Platinum Sponsorship, parking is on a first come, first serve basis. For this reason, we recommend arriving before 8:00 AM on the morning of Ag Showcase. You will be given a parking code to input into the ParkMobile app upon your arrival at the event that is valid for 2 vehicles. Any additional vehicles must be paid for by the attendee.
Booths
Each booth will have a table and two chairs provided for your organization.
The table will be 8ft x 2.5ft. Curtains will be used to separate the booths, so you are welcome to hang banners or any other appropriate material from these. Electrical will be available and shared, so please be considerate of other attendees needing outlets.
The Venue
The event will be held in the Farm Shop. If you haven’t been there before, the Farm Shop is a rustic building with concrete floors and no heat. It can get a bit chilly inside, so check the forecast and dress appropriately. The building provides more space and easier access compared to other campus venues. Note that the student entrance and exit will be the same as last year.
Food & Beverages
Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Breakfast will be served starting at 8:00 am prior to the students arriving (muffins, fruit, and coffee). Lunch will be available starting at 11:30 a.m.. Food will be in the tent set up behind the Farm Shop. There will be a small seating area as well.
Complimentary coffee and water will be available throughout the day.
Restroom Facilities
Bathrooms will be available for use the day of the event. They will be located behind the Farm Shop. Although portable, these bathrooms are equipped with running water. They could be considered the “Cadillac” of portable bathroom facilities. Additional restrooms are available in building 24.
Fire Safety
In an effort to ensure the safety of those attending the event, we ask that you do not have any open flames inside the Farm Shop, and that all electrical cords are secured to the floor. The Ag Showcase team will provide tape and help as needed.
Event Packet
Staying in San Luis Obispo
Once you have arrived to the Farm Shop and have been unloaded from your vehicle, please check in at the front table to pick up your event packet. This envelope will contain information regarding the day’s events, a map of the Farm Shop showing the location of the food tent, bathrooms, etc., and your company representatives’ name tags.
If you need to change the name(s) of representatives attending the event please notify us no later than January 18th before the event so we can make proper changes.
